This is another test of the blogger site with a smaller graphic and not a ton of text.
The TRASH TREKSM  Challenge asks teams to explore the hidden but fascinating world of trash, from collection, to sorting, to smart production, and reuse. They must also invent a solution to help our trash problem and create their own LEGO MINDSTORMS® robot to accomplish trash-themed “missions” on a playing field, and show how well they practice FIRST LEGO League Core Values.

Vashon PTSA provides an after-school program that meets on Saturdays from September to January. For Ages 9-14 meeting time is 9:30-12:30 and High School from 1:00 to 5:00. We participate in the FIRST robotics competition. www.usfirst.org.
